From the market area of Antigua, any northbound bus heading toward Chimaltenango passes through Jocotenango, so you flag one down, tell the driver's helper you want La Azotea, and get off a few minutes later. Village bus fares on this route are not published officially, so carry small coins and pay what the helper asks. A tuk-tuk is the door-to-gate option. The municipal tariff is Q10.00 ($1.31) per in-town ride, announced by the municipality, but in practice drivers commonly ask Q15 or more from visitors. They are not metered, they run on cash only, agree the fare before you get in, and they stop working around 22:00.
